  1. I want to find out if my well water is ok, can you test it?
    If you are purchasing a home with a well, generally you are required to analyze for Lead, Nitrate/Nitrite and Bacteria. If there is something else you are concerned about we can analyze for that also.
  2. What is the general Turnaround Time (TAT) for results?
    Ten business days. Rush analysis is available. Please contact the Lab Director for details.
  3. What are the guidelines for Radon in water?
    There are no guidelines for Radon in water only air. Air is 4pci/l
  4. How do I interpret the Bacti results?
    "A" is absent, P is present and <1 is ok
  5. What does the maximum contaminate level (MCL) mean?
    The MCL is the maximum allowable quantity of the analyte in the water.
  6. How do I interpret the radiological results?
    The MCL's from DEP is Alpha 15pci/l, Radium 226 and 228 added together is 5pci/l and Uranium is 30ug/l.
